The Haunted Librarian

Seems I’m popular. Well, not actually me but my blog site. Someone has paid money to purchase the Web site, http://www.hauntedlibrarian.com, to threaten me and my family. In addition to purchasing the Domain name, he paid for a premium WordPress account to simulate my page. Oh. My. Stars. Get a life.

This illegal activity has been reported. All of this because a man didn’t like the truth.

If you see any suspicious activity or think you see a site associated to me but known that it cannot, please let me know. I am the real Haunted Librarian.

Peace.

Rip Off Report Seph Lawless

I am re-posting because I will not be censored or harassed. Join me in exposing #ParaScammers.

Nova House Mystery

The Internet was abuzz prior to Halloween. Photographer Seph Lawless, a pseudonym, visited several abandoned houses across America and published a coffee table book 13: An American Horror Story. The various websites offered a preview of the houses with brief teasers written by the photographer. One house was especially sinister: The Nova House.

According to Lawless, the Nova House was the site of a horrible accident. In 1958, Benjamin Albright accidently shot and killed his son. Stricken with grief he killed his wife and then turned the gun on himself. Since then the house sits abandoned—shuttered. Moreover, personal items remain inside. What a great story!

The problem is I cannot find any online stories related to this house. Further, I cannot locate any death certificates for a young son dying in Ohio in 1958. No death certificate for “Benjamin Albright” in 1958 either. Nor can I find any articles related to this murder/suicide. This troubles me.

If in fact this house is haunted, there should be at least one story available. At least one paranormal investigation team would have explored this house and posted their evidence. Someone should have written about this tragedy and the fate of this boarded up building. One of the dozens of websites listing haunted houses would have this house on it—with directions.

Urban legends are based on truth. Even a smidgen of truth fuels a tale. However, so many people get caught up in the tale that they don’t question the facts. I would love to read the facts of this story. As it stands now, this is merely a fictitious story about an abandoned and spooky-looking house. Nothing more.

True Ghost Stories TV series debuted Thursday, September 24th with a 42 minute free streaming episode from Sefton Paranormal (Liverpool, England). To view the episode, click https://www.teslawolfmedia.com/free-sample-streams/.

True Ghost Stories is a new paranormal reality series produced by Larry Overman, Crescent Mine owner from Ghost Mine, and Sherri Emily, longtime paranormal investigator. The concept is simple: Overman and Emily assembled paranormal teams from across the globe and will feature a team a week. In addition, the teams will produce episodes and broadcast via Tesla Wolf Media. This unique endeavor shows how paranormal teams operate and investigate private and public locations.

True Ghost Stories

True Ghost Stories premieres first episode.

The first team featured is Sefton Paranormal, from England. Sefton Paranormal investigated The Dome, Grand Central Hall in Liverpool, England. The episode includes footage from the investigation, as well as, post-investigation evidence review. This is a refreshing episode and lacks cheesy re-enactments and over-processed “gotcha” moments usually attributed to large-scale reality show productions. Definitely worth the view!

#RIPCecil: Demand Justice for Cecil

I am devastated by the news this week that Dentist Walter Palmer, of Minnesota, paid between $50,000-55,000 to kill “Cecil the Lion.” Basically, Walter killed a perfectly healthy male lion in order to stroke his ego. Walter has publically stated his “regret” for his participation while placing blame on the guide and landowner. Walter is a COWARD. And a bastard! And we should take note.

  • No one should kill an animal for a trophy.
  • No one should pay an outrageous amount of money to decide who lives and who dies. Critics claim that the money raised by these killings support the poor and enrich the local economy. Studies show that a mere 2-5% actually goes to those who need it most.
  • No one should play God. And that is what Walter and his “guides” did. They lured Cecil from his government protected home, wounded him, and let him suffer for 40 hours before Walter finally murdered Cecil.

Walter does not believe in God. If he did, he would have listened to God’s instructions to not hurt—no less kill—an animal for the pleasure of it. Walter stated: “I deeply regret that my pursuit of an activity I love and practice responsibly and legally resulted in the taking of this lion.”

Here are some of the problems with this statement:

  • Walter doesn’t regret his actions. If he regretted them, he wouldn’t pursue them. Walter likes to kill innocent animals.
  • Walter does not “practice” this “activity” responsibly. If he had, he would have known that luring an animal from his government-protected homeland was illegal. Walter would have known that baiting an animal from his home is illegal.
  • Walter has been arrested for this type of act in the United States. He was placed on probation and fined a paltry $3,000. Seems Walter did not learn his lesson.

Let’s be clear: Walter did not hunt down and slaughter Cecil for food or out of necessity. Walter paid a lot of money to experience the pleasure of killing. Walter is hiding behind the legality of his actions and placing blame on others. However, Walter alone killed Cecil. Now Walter should suffer the consequences of his actions. Walter should stand before the Zimbabwe government and explain his illegal actions. If needed, the United States government should aid in transporting Walter there.

Why Should You Care?

Walter is playing God. People who enjoy killing innocent animals and claim it is an “activity” are evil. There is something wrong with this man. His evil thoughts have manifested into purely evil acts. Walter is a killer. Where will Walter, and those like him, draw the line?

Everyone should pause and think about the consequences Walter’s actions have on society as a whole. When we allow one person to play God, another will want to play, too. Don’t let the Devil win. Don’t rest on your laurels, either. The Devil is still committed to converting God’s faithful.

For the fate of humans and the fate of animals is the same; as one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and humans have no advantage over the animals; for all is vanity.          Ecclesiastes 3.19

Amy Bruni–Still NOT Fired

Amy Bruni

Amy Bruni took to her official Website and posted a well thought out and candid blog addressing the misinformation about her leaving Ghost Hunters. In it she adamantly denies that she was fired from GH. I encourage everyone remotely interested in this story or in slander and libel consequences in general to read the blog.

My Departure from Ghost Hunters

Let’s put this story to bed for the last time!

A word of caution: In most jurisdictions the mere continuation of spreading slanderous/libelous comments makes one libel just the same as the originator of those comments.

Amy Bruni Was NOT Fired from Ghost Hunters

Contrary to reports, Amy Bruni was not fired from Ghost Hunters. Amy took to her Facebook account this morning (July 9, 2015) to set the record straight. Again. Unfortunately, it seems to fall on some deaf ears.

I agree with Amy; seems the story of her quitting doesn’t earn enough clicks. The author writes for an Internet publication that pays the writer for each “click” an article receives. The more clicks, the more money. Sweet deal, unless story ideas dry up.

As an attorney, I’m floored by the number of slanderous articles, posts, and the like that I read. Professional journalists should still vet out sources. They should still seek the truth. Just because an article appears online, rather than in print, it must still be factual. If not, the journalist destroys his reputation and credibility.

Unfortunately, Amy is also correct in stating that it would take a lot of money to sue. She has already taken the first step in hiring an attorney to address earlier inaccurate reports. Although his vocabulary is highbrow, his message should be heeded: Cease this erroneous reporting.

Thom Reed’s U.F.O. Encounters

Thom Reed’s U.F.O. Encounters

Thom Reed is a very excitable man. He contradicted my perceptions of what a person with his background acts like. He has embraced his lot in life and has lots to share. It was a pleasure speaking with him.

Thom’s story began in 1969 when he was 6 years old. Thom and his family experienced a lot—A LOT—of extraterrestrial encounters. Articles, testimony, and eye witness reports support Thom’s story. On February 6, 2015, the Great Barrington Historical Society and Museum (MA) officially declared the events as “historically significant.” A permanent exhibit detailing the “off world” experience opens this fall. Please visit Thom’s website for more information: http://www.tomreed.info/home.html.

I’m drawn to this case because of the amount of evidence collected and proffered. Museum staff members are compiling all of the documents for an exhibit. Equally interesting: The records will be housed in a historical society and not a Ufology-themed museum. This act alone helps bring the discussion of alien life into the mainstream. I’m curious to see how the society creates an installation. Will it be kitsch? Sensationalized? Or will the exhibit balance the case with acceptable historical standards?

In a recent Huff/YouGov poll (2013), 50% of Americans believe that alien life exists. Further, 25% believe that aliens have visited Earth. College graduates are more likely to believe in extraterrestrial life. Another survey from National Geographic reported higher numbers (http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2012/06/28/most-americans-believe-government-keeps-ufo-secrets-survey-finds).

Americans believe in the possibility of alien life. The debate focuses on whether or not the aliens’ intentions are hostile.

Ghosts Don’t Appear When Intoxicated

Tammy Gadd was arrested Monday, June 15, 2015, after calling 911 and admitting to smoking meth. The story and media buzz could end there…except Ms. Gadd claimed that she was seeing ghosts. According to the Laurel County (KY) Facebook page (below), Gadd and another woman, Linda Johnson, were arrested shortly before 5:00 AM after Gadd called 911. When police responded, Ms. Gadd ticked off items she ingested—admittedly an enormous illegal cocktail—that caused her to hallucinate and see ghosts. Unfortunately, thrill seekers may follow suit, hoping that the consumption of illegal narcotics will cause them to see real ghosts. This is simply not true. There is no need to consume any intoxicant to see an apparition. Do not attempt. If you do, expect to be arrested not enlightened.

Laurel Co. Sheriff Department

2 arrested off Creech Road:

Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson arrested two individuals on Creech Road, approximately 5 miles north of London early Monday morning June 15, 2015 at approximately 4:57 AM. The arrest occurred after a female subject called 911 stating that she had done some meth earlier and was now seeing ghosts. When Deputy Jackson along with EMS arrived at the scene they located 2 female subjects outside. Tammy Gadd, the female subject who had phoned 911, told Deputy Jackson that she had snorted two lines of meth and then smoked some meth off foil. In addition, she stated that she had taken muscle relaxers, and drank a half pint of vodka and three beers and that she had started seeing ghosts and hallucinations. This subject told Deputy Jackson that she was happy to be arrested. Deputy Jackson arrested Tammy Gadd age 42 of Wildwood apartments, London charging her with public intoxication – controlled substances. Also arrested was the other female subject there identified as Linda Johnson 49 of Old Salem Rd., London charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and resisting arrest. This subject also stated that she had been doing meth by snorting some and then smoked some off aluminum foil. When told that she was under arrest she stated – I am not going to jail and had to be escorted to the police cruiser. Both subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
