On June 12, famed auction house Christie’s will auction off the pocket watch of Edgar Allan Poe. Described as an 18k gold open-faced 51mm pocket watch, the watch is expected to fetch nearly $120,000. A letter penned by Mrs. A.C. Frisk, former chairwoman of the Poe Cottage, mentioning the watch.
